  1. @rmcrob @rmcrob I have to admit something Randall. My original statement was intentionally ambiguous.

    Most ‘self-descriptions’ aren’t intended to deceive others. I might say I think I’m a good father, for example, and probably mean I try to be a good father. Indeed, I’m sharing my aspirations in that case and it’s said with good intentions.

    But when ulterior motives are in play and a a word like ‘genius’ (or ‘guru’ or ‘power user’) is used to publically describe oneself, it’s a whole different story, in my mind anyway. (Still intentionally being ambiguous.)
